Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Linkpool handles personal information when you use linkpool.ai, create an account, list a publisher website, run an advertiser campaign, fund credits, request a placement, receive payouts, contact support, or connect Google Search Console. It applies to information processed through the service and not to independent websites, payment providers, or Google services that have their own notices.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your name, email address, password hash, roles, optional profile image, and session data. We collect marketplace information such as publisher websites, public article URLs and content, campaign details, target URLs, anchor text, placement requests, offers, counteroffers, communications, disputes, and link-check results. We collect payment records such as provider, payment reference, amount, status, refunds, and recorded processing fees. Card and PayPal credentials are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by Linkpool.
Google Search Console data
Connecting Google Search Console is optional. When you choose to connect it, Linkpool requests the read-only webmasters.readonly scope to confirm ownership of the selected property and import property and page performance information. This can include property identifiers, page URLs, clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, and the permissions needed to confirm ownership. We use this information to verify a listing, present traffic metrics, suggest placement prices, discover eligible public blog inventory, and improve placement matching. We cannot edit your website or Search Console settings, and we do not request Gmail, Drive, contacts, passwords, or other Google-account data.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure accounts, operate the marketplace, process prepaid credit purchases, reserve and settle placement balances, calculate publisher earnings, handle offers and counters, verify submitted links, provide notifications and transactional email, respond to support requests, prevent fraud and misuse, meet legal obligations, and improve visible service features. We use public article content, campaign details, and limited performance signals for AI-assisted relevance matching. AI output is a suggestion and is subject to deterministic eligibility checks and user review.
Information shared with other users
A publisher who makes a website available in the marketplace authorizes Linkpool to show advertisers the listing’s domain, public article information, placement terms, available traffic and authority metrics, and relevant placement status. Advertisers provide publishers the campaign destination URL, requested anchor text, campaign identity, placement amount, and status information needed to review and complete a request. Google access tokens, passwords, payment credentials, and private account settings are not shared with marketplace users.
Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to host the service, store data, process payments, deliver email, connect Google Search Console, and run configured AI features. Depending on the feature, these providers may include Vercel, Neon, Stripe, PayPal, Resend, Google, and configured AI providers. They may process information only to provide services to Linkpool under their applicable terms and instructions. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect the service or users, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell personal information or use Google API data for personalized advertising.
Google API data commitments
Linkpool’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements. We use Google API data only for the user-facing Search Console and marketplace features described here. We do not transfer, sell, or use that data for advertising, retargeting, credit decisions, or training general-purpose AI models. Access by authorized personnel is limited to what is necessary to operate support, security, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. A publisher can remove an eligible website in the dashboard; this removes Linkpool’s stored connection, imported metrics, indexed articles, and unused opportunities for that website. A website with placement records requires support review so transaction history is preserved. Revoking Google access stops future authorized access but does not automatically erase previously imported data. Backup copies may persist until their normal expiry.
Your choices and rights
You may update account information in the service, manage or revoke Google access through your Google Account, and contact hello@linkpool.ai to request access, correction, deletion, or information about rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where an exception or legal obligation applies. Removing Google access or marketplace data can affect ownership verification, traffic displays, matching, and placement records.
Security, cookies, and international processing
Passwords are hashed, Google tokens are encrypted at rest, and session cookies are protected with HttpOnly and production Secure settings. We use cookies necessary to maintain signed-in sessions and service security. Information may be processed in countries where Linkpool or its providers operate. No internet service is completely secure, but we use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the information we process.
Children, updates, and contact
Linkpool is a business marketplace and is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are not legally able to agree to these terms for yourself or an organization you represent. We may update this policy when the service or law changes; a revised date will appear on this page. For privacy questions, security concerns, or data requests, contact hello@linkpool.ai.

Manage or revoke Google access. Linkpool’s Google API commitments are further described in the Google API Services User Data Policy.
