Frequently
asked questions.
Answers about placement prices, credits, payments, and invoices.
See how Linkpool worksIs there a subscription fee?
No. Creating an account is free, and there is no monthly subscription. Agencies pay for the link placements they choose.
How does Linkpool suggest a placement price?
Linkpool considers website and article clicks from the publisher’s connected Google Search Console, relevance, and the publisher’s minimum price. Suggested prices give agencies and publishers a reasonable starting point and reduce time spent negotiating.
Can publishers set their own prices?
Yes. Publishers set a minimum price and can accept, counter, or decline an offer. Both sides review the agreed price before proceeding.
How do credits work?
1 credit equals US$1. Agencies add prepaid credits and use their available balance to request placements. Each request shows the price before Linkpool holds the placement amount. Earnings are released only after the submitted link passes verification.
How much does the publisher earn?
Under the default terms, publishers receive 80% of the placement price and Linkpool retains 20%. For a $150 placement, the publisher earns $120 and the platform commission is $30. Linkpool releases these earnings after checking the submitted link. A bank payout is a separate step.
What happens if a request is declined or a check fails?
Declined requests return held credits to the agency’s available balance. If a submitted link fails verification, payment stays held until the publisher corrects it and passes the check.
Will I receive an invoice?
Yes. We will send an invoice for every transaction, so you can keep a record for your accounts.
